Martin Murphy
Martin has owned and run the Bells Power Group for over 30 years and is well respected within the Generator supply and design industry. Martin has extensive knowledge of the sector and as such, provides invaluable consultancy experience and guidance to the group and its clients. He has guided the group through its evolution from Electrical Contractors to become one of London’s most respected generator solution specialists.
James Murphy
James has worked at Bells since 1995 across all areas of the business. This has given him an in-depth understanding of the generator industry. Specialising in the design and delivery of turnkey generator solutions, as Group MD, James has helped to grow Bells Power Group to be one of the UK’s most trusted names in power generation. Alongside the rest of the team, James champions an on-budget, on-time, quality delivery ethic on all projects.
Richard Davidson
Richard has held senior positions in Finance and Operations for over 20 years, gaining experience in a variety of Industries before joining Bells Group in 2012. As well as being Group Finance Director, Richard is Managing Director of Bells Power Services. Working closely with the senior management team, Richard has helped the company to meet many exciting challenges and propel the business forward through a period of exceptional growth.
Ian McCormick
Ian’s background is firmly rooted in the electrical side of the industry, starting as an apprentice and working his way up to project manager with a major electrical contractor. To further his knowledge of the power industry, in 2010 he joined Bells Power, where he is now Contracts Director. Ian and his team are responsible for completing contracts of varying complexity to the highest standards – on time and within budget.
John Jones
John has a breadth of experience within the standby power industry, starting at apprenticeship level and working his way up through a variety of positions. He is responsible for the control of the group’s commercial contracts, working closely with high profile clients such as Skanska, T.Clarke and Mace. John has worked for Bells since 1984, and as our Commercial Director, is fully committed to the continued success of the whole group.
Ray Watson
Ray brings 27 years of experience – working on generators of all sizes, types and complexities – to Bells Power Solutions. His career in engineering began with 10 years service in the military. He then spent 14 years as FG Wilson’s Senior Commissioning Engineer, were he delivered complex multi-platform projects, often supporting Bells directly. He joined the Bells Group in 2014 and is a highly regarded member of the team.
John Kirby
In a career spanning more than 35 years, John has held various positions within the Standby Power industry including manufacturing/assembly, install/commissioning, control system/PLC design, project management and project sales. He joined Bells Group in 2015 as a Regional Sales Manager and has added to the success of our team, growing our sales portfolio and improving business productivity.
Harry Green
Harry’s 35 years in engineering has included materials handling automation, pharmaceutical manufacturing and power generation. He has worked in the UK and overseas as a Project Manager and Controls Engineer, specialising in PLC and SCADA systems. Since 2011, Harry has led our engineering team in delivering high-end projects incorporating the latest technologies.
